You know, I'm being entirely honest here. That thing scares me more than anything I've ever seen or imagined previously...holy hell I need a hug.

Goths and Emo's scare me more than most anything though I could probably beat them to a pulp. Except the women, they are usually quite large.

Sea Monkeys are Brine Shrimp, and this is another variety of shrimp, though I'm not sure of it's common name. Triops is actually the first part of its scientific classification, of which there are 2 varieties used as pets: European - Triops cancriformis, and American - Triops longicaudatus.

Edit: You can get these things from some school supply stores, pet shops, or other novelty places for as little as $5 a pop. They're not very large though.

Woah...I always thought these things were fake things that just grew in the water, so I never actually bought them...I am so going to buy them now since they are incredibly cheap...

they are real.. sadly i did the worst mistake and killed them all.. OF ALL MEANS do not use bath tub or any from the TAP water.. they react as if going into seizures and die.....thinking i can use less water in the new tank i just cleaned and added new water...

added a 1 gallon of spring water.. trying to beat the system...added a gallon of bathtub water..sadly this mourning they all died.. not a biggy...but they were kewl.. in 2-3 weeks they got as big as quarters...had about 7 in the end.

I recommend em.. i just watched them swim while doing a GVG and i had to wait for the flag.. call em soothers...heh..and for 5 bucks i may go to Petsmart and buy another...learnt my lesson about the killer bath tub water!

Well due to there demise from the deadly BATH TUB WATER. About 2 weeks ago sent a dollar and the bar code to the store to get a new package. It came in yesterday and today they hatched . So a whole new breed is now alive again.

You know back when I was in high school we hardly had anyone you could call an "emo", closest thing back then was those transy glam rockers, and they were pretty cool.
